You mentioned trying a school and transferring if I don't like it. That is a good point. I have only finished my first year at Phoenix, so I only have 24 credits so far. I should be able to transfer easily enough after the first year if i don't like the next University.

I am a 40-year-old woman who never went to college, so this whole experience has been new. I didn't know anything about attending college before last year.

When all is said and done, my Bachelor's will be a combination of credits from at least
5 different colleges, 4 different types of challenge exams and 1 ACE-CREDIT approved course. Why? Because transfer is pretty straight-forward for most colleges and each source I am using is the best source for my needs, the particular courses, and method I have obtained and will obtain them from :)

    Financial aid

Didn't it take longer to get your degree like that? I was afraid that financial aid would look down on too many transfers. I guess as long as the end result is a degree it's OK. I am thinking that I will at least give Troy a try and if the proctored final exams drag down my GPA, I will try somewhere else.

I could not believe all the conflicting information out there about different schools. Choosing the right college or University has been one of the hardest things I have ever done. I think it was easier to chose my hubby! LOL:eek:
