BYU Independent Study - Public Speaking

As a guy that failed the DSST Public Speaking twice in a row, this course was a godsend. I took it a couple of years back, and even got my employer (the United States Air Force) to pay for it. I did the whole thing in 3 days on one tape.

I see the price went up since, but it is still cheap!

FHSU won't recognize it due to the fact that there is no 'public speaking' involved - ensure that your school will accept this BYU course before you take the plunge.

Was the Public Speaking course a University course? And if so, how long after your final grade was posted were you allowed to request a University transcript? Thanks.

 

Of course it is. Grades were available pretty much immediately to me. It's been a few years, but I remember thAt the transcript made no differentiation between independent study and a regular class.

Of course, before spend the money, verify with your school to prevent disappointment. Both TESC and Excelsior took mine.
