    Good Afternoon,
I'm searching for a community college in California that provides the greatest variety of distance learning opportunities. Quite frankly I'm trying to avoid the enormous task of examining the web pages of each of the over 200 or so community colleges in the state to see what they offer. (My google searching didn't help much, either.)

My fields of interest are foreign languages, fiction writing, math and computer programming.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance. (I can be contacted on this forum or at [email protected])

Three good ones I like and have used are:
    Riverside Community College
    Barstow College
    Mira Costa College

I found Coastline to be very user friendly (registration and course presentation):

A leader in on-line education in my opinion (my local CC has few on-line courses and on-line registration just about impossible). My only criticism of Coastline is that they don't have many 200 level courses. So far my exams have been on-line, open book, and no proctor required.

You can check for any individual courses you might need here (although not all CC courses are listed):

There are 19 associate degrees offered online:

Cerro Coso has a satellite campus in Mammoth Lakes - a great ski area. I've heard of students skiing by day and taking classes at night.
