Guess what! There is a third NFA class ACE has approved for credit! I just completed Q137 hydraulic Calculations for Water-Based Fire Protection Systems Plan. I submitted it to ACE yesterday and today I have the following: 5. Hydraulic Calculations for Water-Based Fire Protection Systems Plan Review v.2 1/4/2010 1/4/2010 1/5/2010 APPROVED - SUBMITTED TO ACE FOR PROCESSING :-D
They are similar to FEMA courses but they are accredited directly through ACE. If you go to ACENET.EDU and search NFA you will find 3 courses listed with Q before the course number those courses are online through the NFA.
Thank you Kujo! The other two courses through ACE are Course Q118 and Course Q318 TESC will take ACE Q534 even though it is NOT approved by ACE (always subject to confirmation, but that is my understanding).
Creationstory, my original source over at IC has also suggested that this class q297, may also result in ACE credit via the online venue only, but I'm uncertain, and many at IC are uncertain as well, but it has not been dismissed. Any thoughts would be great, I'll probably do it just to find out if I must, but it looks longer so I'd like to find out first if possible.
