According to the learner’s discussion form, the school will occupy the whole building.

It is a good time for CSU to buy or rent commercial property at advantageous rates.

They must being doing well. Being from Southern Cali, I can tell you that is a VERY expensive area.

The photos that I saw suggested a campus-like office-park setting and I'm assuming that California Southern will just be occupying one building. Looked like a pretty nice building, though.

There are big vacancies in some of them and owners are kind of desperate in some cases, I think. It might be the best time in a generation for Cal Southern to lock in a favorable long-term lease.

Irvine is definitely a tonier location than Santa Ana, more upscale and nearer UCI.

Learners' page:CalSouthern has purchased a new 20,000+ sq. ft. building in a highly visible area of Irvine, California. We are in the process of building the interior and are on schedule to cut the ribbon in early September, 2009. Stay tuned for more information on this exciting development! Be sure to watch for photos in the CalSouthern Sun newsletters over the coming months.

There is a California Western School of Law. When California Western University opened up nearby, the law school was quick to bring legal action, and eventually California Western University lost its name and became California Coast University.

There is also a California Southern School of Law.

    One wonders . . .
