I had it to do over again I would have dropped out of HS at age 16 and gotten a GED, then pretty much gone right into college, online or otherwise if at all possible

    Amen.

I guess that everyone kind of wishes that they could live their lives all over again, taking advantage of all the lessons they learned the first time.

If I was doing everything all over again, I'd do many things differently.

But if I was at the same place in life that I was at when I originally got into DL, I'd likely choose CSUDH-HUX once again. There might be a few more rivals in the mix this time, things that I've learned about subsequently. But the peculiarities of HUX really did fit very well with where I was at.

I still can't believe I got an Associates, a Bachelors, a Masters and a doctorate -- all RA. All that work. So driven. And now sooooo tired.

Yeaa, I said all that already, BUT IT'S SIMPLY UNBELIEVABLE! It was a an academic marathon -- times 2.

If I had to do it all over again, I would have dropped out of Harvard and founded Microsoft.

I didn't say drop out. I said I would have liked to have completed the process earlier and moved on to college earlier. In high school, I was done with all of the necessary credits to graduate my junior year. I just "hung" out for a year, to graduate with my year.

I probably would have been a great candidate for homeschooling, if it existed like it does now when I was in high school. There are plenty of young people now, 12, 14, and 16 years old who have taken the GRE at young ages and have gone to graduate from college.

    I would do it sooner

I would have gotten my master's degree much sooner, like during the b and m time. Or either online quicker in my career.
