I´m not interested in cheating, only to receive a real psyD diploma online as easy as possible.

The simple answer on this is that (which i have got confirmed), the 6 years Swedish education program for being a licensed psychologist, is very much comparable with the US PsyD. So even if i do the PsyD program at an accredited university in the US, it will probably only be a question of repeating what i have already done.

I´m interested in getting the PsyD title the "right way", and by then i have deserved it. But if i can do it for 1 additional year, I would prefere that instead of 2-3 years...

And, as I have said, The Swedish 6 years-education for becoming a licensed psychologist already is as rigourous as the PsyD, so I really dont think it differs much.

Perhaps I misunderstood your first post. Telling us that you are only interested in having a doctoral "title" and then asking us to recommend programs that are as "easy" as possible, accreditation no object, really sounded like you were trying to entice Degreeinfo into recommending degree-mills.

If that wasn't your intent, then I apologize.

Perhaps you might tell us a little more about what you actually want. What does "easy" mean to you? What are you seeking in a program and what do you want to avoid?

If you can expand your overly-vague "easy" into more specific selection criteria, then it will be easier for everyone to determine if particular programs satisfy them and what the various trade-offs might be.

No worries. I did same thing after the first reply... The original poster didn't state whether their interest was in the Psy.D., but the practitioner focus is implied. If the Psy.D. is not a requirement, then perhaps the Northcentral Ph.D. Psychology via distance would be a good option.

For this reason, why do you want to complicate your life with even a North American, regionally-accredited Psy.D. through distance learning? I don't see the advantage for you.

I believe that it's due to the OP's desire to be called "Doktor." Perhaps there is more to it.

Cal Southern University has an online Psy.D program of 66 credits that can be finished in as little as 2 years. It is not APA accredited of course and there is no residency requirement. For someone like yourself who is already accomplished in the field and practicing, this program is rigorous and bypasses having to jump through the APA's gestapo-like hoops.

While the Psy.D program is not accredited by the APA, Cal Southern University is a regionally accredited school as it is accredited by the Western Alliance of Schools and Colleges.

I am Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, considering a Psy.D program probably through distance learning. I have a family and children and am almost 50 yrs old. I've been a therapist for over 20 years, and have no desire to do testing. The APA has a stranglehold on the psychology profession solely based on it's credentialing of academicians and researchers. In my humble opinion, the vast majority of licensed psychologists that provide clinical counseling services to the public have little or no experience, education, or sometimes even temperament to provide counseling services. I think the APA or some other organization like ACA should be working with states to create doctoral level licensing credentials that would be akin to the lLP credential for counseling. California licenses MFT's and LP's with parity and we routinely get paid at the same rate.
