No Bears needed on this one. Jeffrey Brunton, the Diplominator for the state of Hawaii's consumer protection agency, is a regular reader and occasional poster on this forum, and I rather strongly suspect he is already at work.

    Thank God above!

Perhaps good ol' Lincoln Park "University" will learn "what accept IS"---really.

Thanks for responding--its good to know you are out there.

  3. I wonder why they picked the name "Lincoln Park"? Lincoln Park is a Zoo in Chicago, and an amusement park and dog racing track in Rhode Island.

Maybe one of the "academical" deans is from Lincoln Park, NJ, which, by the way, is lovely this time of year. ;)

You are being a bit too hard on these guys. I have looked at a lot of degree mill sites and these guys don’t strike me as one. Uninformed –yes. Amateurish – yes. But they really seem sincere. Besides, I don’t see how they are going to make any money out of this, for example their five-day seminar in Vienna for $390 is not even a break-even price when you consider handouts, personnel and room rental. My view of this site is more of some guys that are not completely fluent in English who are way over their heads when it comes to the distance education arena. In fact, this site would probably do just fine if they called it an “institute” and didn’t offer degrees.

Can this be Denver M, my sometime penpal, not heard from for many years, doer of fascinating deeds? Or are there other "many" occupationed Denvers in New Orleans. If if it is you, howdy and welcome. Perhaps if you stand at the corner of Degree and Info long enough, you'll meet everyone you ever knew. (And if it isn't you, howdy and welcome anyway.)
