Also wondering how Dad is doing with his goals?

 

We used the credit bank at COSC for my under age daughter so that we could see her progress. It was a motivator for her and us. Finally, in January, they allowed her to register at COSC one month early and she has a transcript now instead. At this moment she has 112 semester credits finished and on her transcript. We expect that she will have 3 more semester credits finished in about 2 weeks or so. That leaves 5 semester credits to go which must include a math - college algebra or college mathematics (CLEP). We hope that she will have her B.A. at the end of July.

She has been accepted into an online alternate teacher certification program already. We are also exploring online M.A or M.Ed. programs which lead to initial teacher certification. It must allow her to do her student teaching at our international school (American based curriculum). She has informally been a teacher intern for 2 years now.

American Public University is in the lead so far. We are happy to hear about other programs.

WOW! She is definitely ahead of the pack! Good for her!

 

Dad will finish data collection on June 6 - with the goal of having the draft of the dissertation to the chair by July 15.
