I am 20.9 percent smarter than average. Not sure what that even means.

 

According to the test [and tests don't lie ], I am 25.7% smarter than average.

If you go back and deliberately make mistakes, it will not pull punches. It has the potential to hurt some feelings..

What threw me was when I missed an obvious one--it slowed me down on the next one.

 

Certainly you are not saying that you are surprised that a successful doctoral student is smarter than a five-time master's degree washout.

 

43.6 % better than average, and I'm probably the poorest of all of you. Out of all things, the damn money question threw me!! I've been thrown around too much today.

 

Empirically, there seems to be a positive correlation between the % above average and the amount and level of post-secondary education. Maybe someone should conduct a research study for their Ph.D.

HwyRogue is too cool. Everyone here is smarter than average. If they weren't they wouldn't be here.

 

We probably got smarter AFTER frequenting this discussion forum, or the much older alt.education.distance, for the first time. The amount of knowledge contained in the various threads could easily fill a book.
