Another Ivy League school joins the party. I found out about this degree program through an email. The program awaited approval by the state of New York for the longest time.

    Distance learning pages.

It's not cheap. Each course costs around $4,500. Also note that this program is separate from eCornell.

Nice find! Thank you for sharing.

I see they also offer certificates in Systems Engineering and Systems Engineering Management. The Systems Engineering Management Certificate might be a nice way to cap off my education after I complete the CM program. I would also consider the Stanford Advanced Project Management Program.

It is interesting the course tuition for the Cornell program is exactly what I pay currently at CM. That is very pricey if you do not have tuition reimbursement.

    SAPM isn't award bearing....

    Cornell looks very attractive.

    How many courses required?

I am not sure I follow what you mean by isn't award bearing.

    Thanks!

I mean SCPD is not granting a degree with SAPM.

BTW, USC is also offering similar programmes in system engineering. How do people compare and perceive the degrees from Cornell, USC (DEN), and Stanford (SCPD).

More information here, including course information here.

Looks to be 30 credits, including 2 weeks on campus and a 7 credit project.

The Master of Systems Engineering looks like an interesting programme. An Ivy League school on the c.v. would not hurt, other than in the pocket book.

No degree pursay, but they do grant a certificate and the SCPM credential which would be a nice compliment to the PMP.

I am not sure how the programs are perceived. I would think you could not go wrong with any of them assuming price is not an issue.
