Anyone have experience with Indiana's Kelley Direct program? Looks like a great school, good reputation, etc.

I'm considering the MS in Strategic Management and would appreciate any input, info on residency requirements (didn't see any on their website), etc.

    Thanks!

  2. I'm a KD MBA / MS SM dual degree student, around 75% complete through the MBA portion. I have been VERY satisfied overall with the quality of my education, quality of the professors and such. They have been very flexible and unlike many other online programs, the program, except for delivery, is identical to the B&M program. There is also no "grade inflation" - I have had to work for my GPA, which while ultimately meaningless in the corporate world keeps up the reputation of the program, which is solid.

Most of my professors have been from Bloomington, some from Indianapolis (IUPUI) but all have been good. Support from the KD staff is great - but not incredibly great from IU (non-KD). Note that officially the program is administered from Indianapolis, but again, it's a degree from IU, not "IU Online", or IUPUI.

For the MBA program there are two residencies required, one at the beginning of each academic year (or whenever you can fit it into your schedule). I'm not sure about the MS SM. To my knowledge there isn't one. I suggest you give Jane Sears a call at 317-278-8423. She's been very helpful to me in the past.

    Good luck!

    Cheers,
    Mark

For that matter, IUPUI actually doesn't issue any degrees. All degrees earned there are either Indiana or Purdue degrees.
