Walton College of Business | University of Arkansas A top-50 B-school. Price is reasonable at under 30k for the entire program. One Saturday per month in Fayetville. Would be good for people living in Arkansas/Texas/Mississippi/Texas or anyone else willing to give up one weekend a month. Just thought I'd mention it.
I am not sure this was mentioned: California State University - Monterey Bay offers an online Executive MBA: California State University Online Executive MBA Program | Online Graduate Degree Program
Some fairly recent MBA grad did what seems to be a very thorough study of DL MBA programs and posted the results in 18 parts on his blog. I found his methodology interesting. Someone may find it helpful so I've posted the link below. Stolen Thunder: The Best AACSB Online MBA Schools for 2010 – Part One: Overview
..and for those who can't be bothered to read 18-20 dry and ultimately annoying blog posts, here's the post with the final outcomes: Stolen Thunder: The Best Online MBA Schools (AACSB) for 2010 Part Eighteen: Summary Review, Methodology and Advice to MBA Candidates
Off the top of your head, any "decent" online MBA programs that don't require GMAT or an impressive resume?
Chadron State College in Nebraska has an online MBA program that appears substantial, and as a state college, the reliability factor is unquestioned: Graduate Courses & Programs - Online Learning - Chadron State College
Thanks for that. Right now, I'm looking at Ashford too but 560/hr doesn't sound reasonably decent, especially considering how Drake ( more reputed in Iowa ) offers MBA for the same cost.
Yes i think if it's online University of Phoenix will be the perfect choice otherwise Duke University would also be approachable.
I just posted this in another thread, but figure that I could include it here too. Antioch University in New England just have just developed an online format for their their respected (regionally, at least) MBA in Sustainability ("Green MBA"). Classes are starting this May. This is a really great MBA program, as far as I can tell from going here for almost two years. Sustainability is a really important issue right now... whether it's organizational, environmental, financial, or systemic in another way... and from what I can tell the MBA covers all of the bases quite well. I've noticed that the University of SOUTHERN NEW HAMPSHIRE has an online MBA program w/ SUSTAINABILITY(COMPLIANCE), it appears doable, I myself would like to attempt it when my cognitive &left arm is more improved.
FUQUA has paid off hugely for my sis-in law & her husband... CHA CHING! CHA CHING! LOTS of earned $$$$$$
I just started at ncu and it is exciting to me that I can go at my own pace one class at a time. I started a couple of weeks ago and I have already completed almost half of my assignments in the business ethics class. They provide free access to smarthinking tutors which is great. These tutors will proof read your essays before you turn them in for a grade. The MBA also offers so many specializations, three of which are computer oriented. My specialization is applied computer science and I have numerous options for the five elective cs courses. The MBA is completed with 18 core credits and 18 specialization credits or you can choose no specialization and sample courses from many different categories. The MBA is not cheap at about 1850 per class but it is regionally and ACBSP accredited. The beauty is the at your own pace format and the fact that you can call up, pay for a class and have access immediately. With online textbooks I was able to go from no grad program to working on my first paper in hours.
I didn't have to take the GMAT for the Georgia WebMBA, but they only waived it because I already had an MA and GRE scores. If you have a previous master's degree, you might find some places that will waive the GMAT requirement.
I know a number of top-tier MBA programs are now allowing applicants to submit either the GMAT or the GRE. Not sure if other programs are following suite or not.
Does anyone have any input regarding the MBA program at AMU? This is a for-profit school so I'm a little apprehensive, but I would like to learn more about their program to see if its worth it . . .
I think there are several people completing degrees there and/or teaching there. I am sure they will have input. For $10K, you really have to consider reviewing it.
