So what happened to Dr. Claudia Santin, the previous NCU president?

I don't know what happened to Dr. Claudia Santin, but Dr. Clinton Gardner also serves as a consultant-evaluator for the Higher Learning Commission (that's significant).

    Here's another interesting read:
The new dean of education at NCU has connections within Arizona (that's significant), which will presumably help to get their education degrees recoginized within Arizona.

So here we see NCU connections with the HLC and within the State of Arizona. Connections are everything in the business world.

I understand that there was an audit of the school, that lead to a restructuring to become more student friendly, and create a consistency across programs.

There were many duplicate job functions, as each school (business, psychology, education) operated independently which in turn was creating an incredible cost for NCU. I would theorize that this may be part of the release of the old president.
