Warren National - Student Advisor Ad

Saw this ad today. If Warren National is truly moving towards accreditation, I still haven't figured out where faculty (if any) fits into the new business model if Student Services Advisors are answering questions on homework and assignments.

Plus combining the rah-rah outbound calls to keep students enrolled with delinquent tuition collections?

The ad says that the job location is in Cheyenne, Wyoming. And it explicitly states "No Out of State Applicants!". So WNU clearly appears to be targeting Wyoming residents for this position.

But if a Wyoming resident does fax in a resume in response, it will go to a fax machine in the Agoura, California area, based on the area code and prefix.

If WNU is relocating to Wyoming, they apparently still have some work to do.

    Why is anyone not surprised?

The founder of an unaccredited entity (K-W/WNU) holds an unaccredited "doctorate" (probably fake, most definitely not legitimate and not recognized by his academic "peers" - if there are any) from a "university" (Indiana Northern "U") run from, or "housed" at, a dairy farm outside Gas City, Indiana.

    Figures.

If you are skeptical about WNU's job posting for Student Services Advisors, you may be even less impressed by their posting for Admissions Counselors.

Unlike most administrative jobs at universities, this one is a VERY LUCRATIVE CAREER OPPORTUNITY with Base + Commissions

True, I find myself less impressed with the job title alone:

    "ADMISSIONS COUNSELOR - INSIDE SALES"
