Something as easy as claiming a false degree can end her career and rapport among her networks. I believe she should be removed from her position or asked to resign. Then again she may be transfered or demoted. Will this incident expose her bosses?

Bruce: "...I distinctly remember her saying she graduated from Harvard Law, because she worked it into every subject of conversation..."

John: This is a fairly common phenomenon for people with fake degrees. Laura Callahan, the high official at Homeland Security who was found to have a fake doctorate, used to insist that people call her "Doctor Callahan." Ditto for "Doctor Bob," the CBS-TV weatherman who was fired when they learned his doctorate was fake. And so on.

And almost everyone on these fora who evokes "doctor" in their handles either (a) doesn't have one or (b) has one from an unaccredited school (or worse).

I am happy to refer to myself as "Doctor" and I have had positive acceptance with my recent accomplishment.

Um, you're the Breyer State guy, right? If so, it is no surprise you didn't understand my post. See, it doesn't apply to you because you don't evoke "doctor" in your handle, "backtocali." This is despite your claim to a phoney degree and your use of a title you have not earned.

Since 2000 (in Florida at least) Pharmacists are required to have a PharmD, as opposed to a bachelor's in pharmacy.

There are pharmacists who insist they be addressed as "Dr.", and some pharmacists who don't care. Some even prefer not to be called Dr. so they won't be confused with an MD.

A UF professor is actually doing some research into the personalities of these groups. It would be interesting to see what he comes up with.

I recognize your response, however, I use my title within the work realm as doctor and I do feel I have earned it.

Here are some interesting statements from Breyer State University:
    • "Breyer State University is not accredited by an accreditation agency approved by the U.S. Department of Education."
      .
[*]"Will employers accept degrees which are accredited by an accreditor not recognized the U.S. Department of Education? There is no simple, straight-forward answer to this question."
      .
[*]"Does an accredited degree guarantee that I will have a great learning experience? No."
      .
      [*](Source)
IMO the word "state" should be removed from Breyer State University because it is not a part of any state university system. It is misleading and is likely to keep enrollments high from uninformed (hoodwinked) citizens. It's very sad to think of how many people are duped into enrolling in this unaccredited money making operation.

True, but those same citizens should hold the ultimate responsibility for informing themselves about any school in which they may want to enroll.

Unfortunately, some people still ignore the information presented to them.

How might I gain a copy of your dissertation? An electronic copy is fine.

You should be able to obtain a copy of my dissertation titled, "The Global and Sustaining Effects of Gender Based Groups Within a Team Collaborating Environment." It is available through cambria Press. Non electronic version only.
In my dissertation, I performed a population census study on whether or not variances in Gender affect the sustained outcome of a team's ability to reach productivity in the collaboration of brainstorming ideas.

Utilizing research through the access of several Fortune 500 companies whom offered to provide an in-depth research survey and monitoring format, it was identified in conclusion to find that those of whom held either male only or female only groups found brainstorming sessions to be less productive within the overall end results of their sessions and from collaborations efforts.

My dissertation has been submitted and should be available from Cambria Press. Non-electronic version only.

A search for that title at cambriapress.com returns zero hits.

It is not. A search at Cambria fails to turn up your dissertation. This was true the last time you claimed this.

I gave my dissertation away to anyone who asked, provided they had a real identity. I denied just one person on that basis, and gave away dozens of copies. It, too, is available, but from the real source, Proquest. Your dissertation won't ever be available there, of course.

OK, since it is not available at Cambria, how could I obtain a copy? You can send me a PM if you would like.

Oh, I also declined to provide it to a well-known millist who participated in the attempted theft of my dissertation from Proquest. (One purchase, 67 downloads! And Proquest had accidently posted my Program Summary instead of my dissertation, which these idiots still thought was my dissertation.)

So give it to people who ask already.
