What's with the UK suffix? You simply can't be one of us. If so; drink some tea, go look at some proper schools and then come back. You might even get taken seriously...

 

Any institution that has the main thing going for it is that "it is not that bad as you think" equals diploma mill in my book. It is along the same lines as "any school that causes any concern that it might be a diploma mill means that it probably is a diploma mill".

 

You have no idea how difficult it is to get a .ac.uk domain.

I was mocking the 'UK' suffix from his name of 'DavidToppingUK' and he gets his knickers in a twist about .ac.uk domains?...some serious grey matter short-circuitry going on with this character.

 

Eh? The UK is where I'm situated.

The serious grey matter, to which you refer, just got himself an MCGI from the City and Guilds Institute London, in Engineering, which is an MSc on the UK NQF.

Now looking into DProf courses at Teeside and a few other places.

 

And perhaps modesty forbids mention of his many advanced degrees, including the MBA, DBA, PhD, Int. PhD, and Grand PhD.

 

I am suitably humbled.

Okay, the "Grand PdD" is both phoney and funny sounding, but what in the name of blazes is a "Int. PhD"?

It's bad enough when millist make up academic credentials that sound serious but are phoney, now they seem to be in a game of one-upsmanship as to who can come up with the fakest sounding "degree" and present it with a straight face. It's beyond absurd.
