I was wandering if there was anyone out there who majored in Political Science at TESC. I am trying to wait till this summer to enroll so I don’t have to pay for more than one year. The problem is that I have run out of stuff to do! LOL. All I have left is my 33 Area of Study Requirements and Electives. I plan to take them the traditional way this coming school year and then transfer everything to TESC. I would love to shave off a few hours this spring to reduce my load of classes. Does anyone know which DSST, Excelsior, or TESC tests, that TESC counts toward the Political Science Area of Study? I tried calling them, but they really don't want to talk to you until you enroll.

I was thinking that these might qualify. Does anyone know for sure?

    Introduction to Political Science TECEP
An Introduction to the Modern Middle East DSST
History of the Vietnam War DSST
    Labor Relations/Collective Bargaining TECEP
    Federal Income Taxation TECEP
    Community Health TECEP
    Environment and Humanity DSST

I have already taken the CLEP American Government, DSST Rise and Fall of the Soviet Union, and DSST Statistics.

Thanks! I am almost done with my degree. You guys rock!

    Tuition jump

Hi Heath, I am also on a degree path and will pay my tuition in March instead of waiting longer. I plan on being done the bulk of my second degree by the spring- hopefully sooner. Tuition will probably jump 7/1/2009. I need to have my degree in place for the next school year so I want all credits transcripted. I would overdo the amount of Political Science credits you have if possible. I would check with my local CC and see if they allow end of semester testing. You may want to look at that option. We are a TESC family so I know service is slow and will be slower with the state cuts. The degree will serve you well and the price is good. You can also look into AP testing at your local HS in May. Check the options. Hille
