Walden has now move to a different grading rubric for all class assignments Superior, Acceptable, Not Acceptable for all weekly discussions 4=Exemplary, 3=Meets Standard, 2=progressing, 1=Emerging for evaluating all written assignments. No longer the standard A,B grading. Has any other university, i.e NCU, Capalla adopted a similar scale?
Alverno College and Eastern Washington have similar systems. Walden's new grading system is consistent with the standards-based systems which are gaining popularity in K-12 education throughout the country.
