Also, while MIT calls it distance learning, they set the schedule. So, if they schedule a course at 8:30am to 11:30am Friday morning, you have to log in to the class at that time for videoconferencing. Not very conducive to us working stiffs who aren't employed by one of the partner companies.

 

Yes, but that seems to include skiing and white water rafting.
