Today I take the final exams for business orientation, information literacy, management, and math for business and finance. I'll update the board later with how I think I did. The english final is a persuasive essay that I'll be writing over the next day or two.

    Hey Pug,
It is good to hear that you are going to take your final exam. Good luck.
I just took my final for the fourth semester in Electrical Engineering Technology which included AutoCAD, Telelcommunications part 2, 3, and Art Appreciation.
When I did my first semester finals, the essay had to be pre-written and included with the exam packet on return to Penn Foster. Have they changed the rule?
Well anyway, good luck on the exam!

I'll be very interested to hear about those exams. I have to take the exact same tests once I wrap up my current semester.

On question: how long did it take you to get through the semester? I'm ashamed to say it has taken me well over a year, and I'm still working on it.

    Good luck!

Well, I took the exams earlier today. Some of the questions were difficult and others were easy, similar to any test from any school I suppose. All in all I think I did well.

TCord, it took about 7 months to get through the semester but I was given transfer credit for two of the courses from work I did at another school ages ago. I think I could have done the semester in about 4 months but I let time get away from me WAY too frequently.

Penn Foster's course work is definately on a par with other schools I've attended, RA and NA, but I don't think I'll be doing another semester with them. I don't like the format where you take all of the final exams at once at the end of the semester. It's been 7 months since I took the first class...that's a long time ago when it comes to testing. I think I'm going to use my existing credits, including those earned at FEMA, to get the Associate degree from either TESC or Excelsior. I believe I'm about 4 classes away now assuming I passed my exams today. Once I get the Associate degree I may continue taking individual classes with Penn Foster using their business office number, or I may just enter Bellevue's accelerated BA program (expensive but done in one year).
