So there I was in my boxer shorts checking my email when the doorbell rang. I quickly dress and run down stairs only to catch the Fed Ex person about to leave. I sign for a padded envelope and wonder what the heck it was (I thought I was going to the campus to pick this up since I am attending the ceremony)......I open it and see the cover. Open the cover and there it is....my Southwester College BS Diploma.

Interestingly enough it says Southwestern College "Bachelor of Science" and "Magna Cum Laude" but no major......like "Criminal Justice" etc.

Anyways, this diploma looks like they spent some money on it, unlike my Ashworth College one..........it will look very nice in that $120.00 frame on my wall.

    Yeeehaaaa!!!!!!!!

Oh, I took it to work to photocopy for my training file, after all my dept. did pay for it..........a few people were like "wow that's nice, how long did it take you to get it?" when I answered "over 5 years" they gently handed it back and said "man I wish I could do that".

Good job!!!! I am sure that diploma will look great in nice frame. I am going to have my A.A. and B.S. framed in custom frames so they both match. I am going out all, gold embossed lettering for the school names, nice matting, and gold medallions for each frame.

    Congrats once again!!!

Nice! My Bellevue diploma only listed Bachelor of Science, without the major - it's not that uncommon. Enjoy the ceremony, and congrats on enrolling at St. Joseph! I know it's been a goal of yours for a while now, and I remember the exchanges you and Gregg had about it. It's always nice to see someone realize a goal.

As far as the St. Joe MBA, I received the info packet, and spoke to an enrollment counselor about the program a few months ago. The only reason I elected Touro for the Masters instead was cost (no out of pocket since I'm military), and time to completion before I retire at the end of this year. If I can line up an employer with decent tuition benefits, I'll likely still pursue the St. Joe MBA - it looks like it was designed for my mindset about leadership and ethics. Congrats once again, and please keep us posted!

Congrats, especially on graduating magna cum laude. As I recall, my B.S. degrees did not specify major either.

    Well done!
