Given that these two institutions offer the same, down to the exact same course name, MSIT and MSIM degrees which, if any, would you want on your c.v.? These institutions are NA/DETC accredited. Gratham tuition includes textbooks (USD265.00 per credit hour) whereas Aspen tuition does not include textbooks (USD250.00 per credit hour).

I would be fine with either one. However, before you make your decision, you might want to find out if this $4,500.00 prepayment deal is still available at Aspen. I do not see an expiration date.

    Good luck!

P.S. I am presently pursuing an MBA at Aspen, and the service is great!

    TEKMAN Semper Fi!

I rather go with Aspen University. When Grantham University was located in Lousiana; none of people around there knew the institution was existed. I believe the institution was established since 1956 or something. The California National University has better reputation than Grantham.

    GO ASPEN...............ALL THE WAY!!:p

    Thanks everyone for the feedback.

I am presently enrolled in the Project Management certificate programme at Aspen University. I am finishing up my undergraduate degree right now so time constraints prevent me from embarking on a full graduate degree until the summer. But I wanted to get the project management certificate out of the way since those courses can be directly applied to my work and can be used towards the Aspen University graduate degree (MSIT or MSIM). Working full-time and carrying 15-credit hours at the same time has been a juggling act at times; so close to completion of the BA (NS/M).

I've been very happy with Aspen so far. I'm currently in the MS IT program. I believe with TEKMAN actually :)

    MBA vs MS

I just finished my MBA/IM with Aspen. I am thinking whether it will be useful in my career if I get MS/IM as well. Any thoughts?

Sentinel, keep in mind that Aspen's MBA offer's 9 transfer credits for the PMP...which seems a natural extension after the certificate.

My opinion would be to not get a second Masters from the same school, espically one in a subject so close. Just my 2 cents though.

    siersema,

Why would you suggest not getting a second masters degree from the same school? I'm contemplating a second graduate degree from the same RA school I'm currently enrolled in and have seen several other schools that offer joint degree programs requiring less total credits than if the two degree programs were completed separately.

I'm almost completed with Troy's M.P.A. and the M.S. in Criminal Justice is the second degree I'm thinking about completing at Troy.

I'm not sure I have a good reason. Another experience, another institution's viewpoint, another set of people to network with. Perhaps in a large enough school you'd get these things from just being in another department though.
