This afternoon I turned in my last exam, so all the requirements have been met for a BA from Columbia College.

It only took seventeen years from when I graduated high school, but who's counting?

    Now for that grad degree.......

Outstanding! It was 24 years after high school for me, if that makes you feel any better....:) .

Even better that you're already thinking about that Grad degree, but for now, wear your arm out patting yourself on the back on a major accomplishment. My sincerest congratulations!

From HS to my first bachelors was one month short of 26 years. To the second bachelors was 26 years, 2 months.

My first complete accredited masters (not counting the MMin from Nations) will be 1 month under 28 years and the second will be 28 1/2 years. (Lord willing)

My wife didn't finish high school - she then got a GED 8 years later and enrolled in College (B&M resident FT) - she'll finish her BA this coming May, 13 years after she quit HS. She's expecting academic honors and is planning a master's as well.

It's never too late to finally get those academic goals completed. And some people complain about 5th year seniors :D

Congrats on your remarkable accomplishment and keep driving until all of your academic dreams are met...

I graduated from High School way back in 79 and did a two year stint at Suffolk Community and Stony Brook Univ. Stonybrook recommended I take some time off which I did...many years.

Thank goodness for degree completion programs and DL learning. For me, learning as an adult is so much better. This time around I really want to learn. Of course I realize how much I missed back then, but that is part of the learning, too.

    Congratulations again.
