Yesterday, I tried to get my GE Certified at a local community college, so I could apply to CSU Long Beach for a DL program.
Unfortunately, it looks like I may have to take English 1A despite taking 2 college comp and rhetoric courses out of state at a TX JC when I was in the Air Force.
According to my local JC, the course description never mentioned writing a term paper, so next week I'll have to petition the Dean of English at the JC, and hopefully challenge the requirment with my 2 courses that I have already taken.
And to add insult to injury, when I was at CSUS, they were ok with those courses to satisfy 1A and I've already passed the WPE!!

    CSU LB is cool....

it's dealing w/my respective City College to get all of my GE certified before I make the formal application to LB.
I think with the course syllabus that I got off the web concerning my out of state JC, I should be ok when I petition Monday or Tuesday. Thanks Tim.

    Cool,

What program are you going to do?

I looked into CSULB DL program a few years ago. It was only meetings at difference agencies.
