    Hello,

Greetings from Albany, NY (though at the time of this writing I actually live in Oregon).

First...to all my fellow EC grads out there in every degree program and level, congratulations! We did it!!!

Second...to everyone on here, Excelsior College had their 35th convocation of graduates today - to which I was in attendance (July 14th) in Albany, NY. There were nearly 5,000 graduates this year for the Excelsior class of 2006, but as I understand it only around 300 or so actually attended the ceremonies - with 26 countries represented.

One chapter/door in our lives has closed now, and for most us we look for the next one to open.

    May our successes continue....

All the best to all graduates around the world, wherever you are, and from whatever school you are graduating.

    Congratulations Shawn,

I knew there was a good time coming....it was just a long time coming! :D

You worked hard, you overcame everything that was thrown at you, and you achieved your goal. For that, you should be proud.

    Well done bud.

    Ever upward,
    Rob

    Congratulatons!

It was very similar when I graduated from University of Phoenix last year, about 300-400 participated in commencement, but they came from all over the world and country. I've never seen families go absolutely nuts for the graduates like they did there, it made me very proud, and almost had me in tears. You can bet that I will do the same when my fiance finishes up next year. I'll bet it felt great to walk accross that stage :)

The degree will open doors you never knew where there, and I wish you the best of luck and prosperity :)
