I just signed up for the EC College Math class on CD. Does anyone know how the physical CD is going to come into my life? I don't see any reference to it in the confirmation I got and it's not listed in the bookstore.

Did you enroll in the CD-Rom or WebCT course?

I enrolled in the CD-ROM course. I don't like the mandatory discussion component in web courses. Especially for math!

I've read your posts about the quest for an easy math class. I'm in pretty much the same boat. The best solution would be to time-travel back to 9th grade and pay more attention. Barring that, I hope I can manage this class.

When I took the math there was no mandatory discussion component. Aside from the Mid Term and Final there were also no strict deadlines from quizes.

    Hi June -

After considering all of the cost, work load, and exam factors I opted to enroll in the Penn Foster course (Tech Math 1) as it fullfils my 2 credit math requirement. I presently have 123 credits and just need these last two to graduate.

I too considered the EC course and have left it as a last chance option should the Penn Foster class not work out.

I hope the class works out for you - Good Luck!!

Answering my own question here--they will mail the CD.
