90 semester hours is essentially equivalent to 3 years of full time study.

A typical course in the United States is worth three semester hours of credit. This means simply that the class met for 3 hours per week for a semester (about 16 weeks).

Based on the 3 semester hours per course average - 90 semester hours also equates to 30 courses.

1 semester hour is generally equal to 16 hours in the classroom. Therefore, 90 semester hours would be equal to 1440 classroom hours.

There are exceptions, but this is the typical scheme.

Carson, thank you very much, now I have understood what semester hours means.
The Brayer State University offer me 30 semester hours/credit transfer, and I can Complite my Bachelor Degree in Nursing in 90 semester hours.

Isa, I couldn't find anything on Brayer State University. I believe you are referring to Breyer State University. If so, this school is not accredited regionally or nationally. Stay away from them. Your degree will not be recognized by anyone, anywhere.

I would also strongly advise against Breyer State University. As pugbelly mentioned, a degree from Breyer State will not be recognized by anyone or anything meaningful, except perhaps by accident.
