Question from a military student

    Not sure if I'm misunderstanding that statement. The regular GI Bill, I've found, pays the "full time rate" when you're taking at least 12 credit hours. They couldn't care less how much it costs you.

    The Top Up program is different, I think they pay the difference between TA and actual cost, and charge it against your 36 "credits".

    If I misunderstood your statement, just ignore me. It's 4am and the coffee aint working anymore!

    If you are on Active Duty, the GI Bill will only pay up to the max rate you qualify for, for that enrollment time period. If your costs are less than that rate, then they only pay the tuition. Why they care I do not know, but I am sure it has to do with money of course.
