    Ok Jeff.
I'll give you credit for the name change to Penn Foster. Although I was somewhat disappointed with my diploma for my AST in Electronics, I was not with my transcript which had a 3.8 GPA.
A letter came with it saying "Honors." But, I couldn't find those words on the diploma. Yes, I think new diplomas should have the name of the school, a gold seal, and look impressive since most all graduates are proud of their sheepskin. Many like to hang them on the wall in full view for all passers by to see.

I needed my Electrician Diploma to submit with quotes and insurance, for commercial electrical work (here in PA no state lic required, but most commercial business require some proof of certification, etc...) but my Education Direct diploma was so cheap looking I was embarressed to submit it.

    Jeff,
I understand your point. I also complained about my diploma. The Education Direct degree diploma didn't even have the school's name on it. Just has "Center for Degree Studies."
In a letter I questioned why the school's name wasn't on the diploma. Well you know the answer. Lately, I was told all that has been changed. Now it will say Penn Foster Career Schools or Penn Foster College, which ever you attend.
Say, did you have the NEC course with the Electricians program.?
I just finished that one for the AS in Electrical Engineering Technology.
