In fact you can further boost your GPA by taking some of the CLEP, Dantes, and ECE(Excelsior College Examinations). GRE can bring you a lot of credits but they are not graded. However, in case of ungraded exams, Excelsior doesn't consider them in calculating the GPA. Also, to my knowledge and from experiences of many others, graduate schools(including prestigiuos ones) don't discern whether traditional courses or CLEP or other exams were part of your degree or GPA

Hope this helps you a bit further,

Thank you! I had actually planned to take the GRE Psych test on Apr.1, but I had so much make-up work I needed to do (was really sick this winter) that I decided to wait. Man, that test covers a LOT of material. Hopefully I can take it in November - after that, hopefully, I will be more than half way to my goal.

This summer will be a good time for me to get some of the CLEP testing done.

    :D :D :D
