    Hi everybody,
I'm studying for Dantes MIS exam.
Could someone tell me if I should know a lot on International IS and also on Artificial Intelligence.
What should I really focus on?
I'm very scared, cause the book is going so slow and I feel I'm not 'getting' it,....
Anyway, it's not my favorite I guess.
Any help is welcome and PS, I have no cert...(forgot what it's called)
    Thanks everyone!!!!!!
Good luck on all your studies.

I took the test and it was pretty easy for me but I had a few computer dertifications at the time (MCSE, A+...).

I rememeber thinking that just about anyone with some sense of computers in the business world could pass the test. If you could pass this sample test you should do fine.

    Best of luck.

From what I remember the test was not difficult...

The test appears to have been written about 12 B.C....you won`t find questions about modern computer subject such as A.I.

I did not study for this exam and I passed it very easily. But I also work in IT.

If you are studying a textbook, passing the practice exam mentioned by Randell, and you have a better than average (by that I mean more than just word, outlook and IE) understanding of computers then I think you can pass this test. Remember a pass is just over 50%.

Here are a couple textbook companion links that I found helpful.

Be sure to use the suggested topics from the DANTES fact sheet as it was pretty accurate.

Be sure to read and understand the SDLC and such. Familiarity with the process will be helpful.

If you bought the official CLEP study guide, you can use the intro to computers sample test to make sure you have the lower level stuff. It will be repeated here in the MIS test.

    You can do it.
