I can only speak to two classes there so far, and both are in the PhD program. I have only been graded on papers so far. I can't speak to the comps yet. Bing
Hi Simon. Most of the graduate courses I have participated in at NCU were a combination of specific assignments and a final project/paper. The grades were based on the performance therein. When there were actual exams, the grades were combined with the performance on the final paper. Craig
The course I am in now consists of graded homework problems, 2 quizzes, 4 case studies, and a final exam. The classes I have had prior graded on anything from problems, to written responses, to research papers, to any combination of these. To answer your question: both with each class being different.
NCU The school issues number grades for assignments and letter grades for courses and "S" grades for comps.
If you search the forum, you'll find 1 or 2 specific syllabi posted on NCU classes with very detailed info
