I don't get it. There's no wit, insight or purpose to that so why bother?

I didn't think you would - most Republicans who think this quack in chief is a great President wouldn't.

As such, I loved Senator Murtha's assessment of our chickenhawk draft dodger VP - classic. Cheney can spout all he wants - he will always be a weasel draft dodging puke - and that will never change.

    I'm not Republican.

I've been neither a Bush supporter nor detractor.

Life must be easy when you have the world presupposed, eh?

I don't get it because I don't get adults farting aloud like little boys.

You must have slept through the nineties to have missed so much.

And you've missed that Bush was as wishy-washy as Clinton, pre-9/11.

You don't honestly believe this, do you?

Yes. Mean, hurtful and disrespectful. It doesn't speak well of the Left.

OK. Murtha was in Vietnam and Cheney wasn't.

So does that really demonstrate that Murtha is right and Cheney wrong about what should be done in Iraq?

(What does Murtha propose to do?)

I'm not thrilled with the situation in Iraq either. If anyone here has any suggestions about how to improve things, then feel free to post them.

But posting an asinine succession of insults ('chicken hawk', 'draft dodger', 'weasel', 'puke') just communicates your frustration and lack of constructive ideas.

Critics of the war have to be able to do better than that. The war issue is too important to let your side be dismissed that easily.

And I suppose the right never hurl insults or resort to name calling? Come on now Bill, you know better.

I'm no Bush supporter, but this doesn't really do anything.

I personally believe that Clinton should have resigned. It would have been best for his party and the country if he had put the blame on himself and not the image of the whitehouse. I think that all the Bush Haters/Clinton lovers should really think about this:

If Clinton had resigned, and Gore took office for a couple of years, wouldn't that have possibly earned him an additional 500 votes in Florida and possible prevented the incredibly bitter bipartisanship the country is experiencing right now? I guess we’ll never know but…

IMHO If Clinton had resigned, you wouldn't even have to worry about that jpeg coming true right now.

But at least Clinton gets to keep his "badge of honor" as he so calls his impeachment survival in his book.

Along with the terrorists, Saddam supporters, and Al Queda!

Nothing personal, Jack, you know I like and respect you. This is about political beliefs and ideals, not personalities.

Have a good afternoon, it's simply gorgeous here in central Indiana. :)

Did the war with Yugoslavia evaporate from history that quickly? (I bet that they remember it in Belgrade.)

Troops are still occupying Kosovo today, a decade later, with no exit strategy in sight.

Technically the provice is part of Serbia, but the ethnic Serbs have been driven from the region. (That's ironic, since we went to war to prevent ethnic cleansing and that's just what happened.) The ethnic Albanians demand independence, but the European Union opposes that because they fear that it would promote ethnic irredentist movements in their own countries. So Kosovo stumbles on with a de-facto Albanian shadow government that nobody recognizes, overseen by foreign troops.

But since there isn't an insurgency killing those troops, nobody outside the Balkans cares very much.

Gee -- lighten up - it is a joke (albeit a hopeful joke - but a joke nevertheless). Of course we pretty much have a joke for a VP, but that is a different story.

What has this got to do with boys farting?
