I am going to start Texas A&M - Commerce's On-line MBA program January. I was wondering from people who are en-rolled there or have been before is there max number of classes you can take each semester? I would like to take 12-15 credits each semester and try to finish in about a year or a little over a year. I own on-line businesses so I have plenty of time to do the work as long as it is nothing crazy. Can anyone comment on if I am able to do this and what type of work load I will carry per each class? Also, has anyone taken several classes in a semester from there and how was it? Also, any tips or information on the schools MBA program or pointers would be much appreciated.

    Thanks,

    Joe

I think this will help interested Board members.

The MBA program is rigorous but managable. The professors work with you all along and are helpful. The courses are taught by the same faculty who teach on-campus. I usually take 1~2 courses each semester and able to do it without any problems. If you can spend more time i think u can take 12 credits each semester (talk to school if u can take more than 3 courses each semester). I highly recommend this school. Each course ttypically will have either cases or assignments/readings each week and 2~3 exams and are manageable. The class i am taking this semester has chat sessions(optional) every tuesday. You can call the professor if any questions and they welcome that. In a whole its a well rounded program. Program is AACSB accredited.
