    Hello,

I've a BS in business. If I'd like to earn a RA Master's in psychology(general or industrial), which inexpensive and reasonably fast options would be open to me?

    Thanks,

    Dennis

    hello Tom,

thanks for the reply. The program, indeed seems interesting and you need to earn 36 credit hours. By the way, how can I know the total cost of the program? Simply by multiplying $475 times 36 for a total of $17100? Is this correct?

    Dennis

PS: Ted, thanks for the list of degrees

Many schools also have some sort of fee structure that sits on top of the per credit tuition costs. Plus, not all programs are 100% non-residential and so you may have to factor in transportation/accomodation costsa as well. An evening of surfing the above mentioned websites should give you your answer. Good luck.

    You might try:

    http://www.columbiasouthern.edu/uwa/programs/mscepsyc.html

the MSCE is a rather annoying name but the degree is in counseling/psychology. The program is great. I obtained 18 hours of psy to teach at a community college. The 3 credit courses are approximate $900 each. No residence required. All on line.

If you want to get started a little more inexpensive you could do 6 hours (the max. UWA will accept in transfer credit) from:

    http://www.csudh.edu/extendeded/sportpsychology.htm

These 3 credit course are approx. $500 each. So you have 2 courses at a total of $1,000; the other 9 at $9,000 for a total of $10,000 plus books for an accredit Masters in Psychology. Not bad, not bad.

    Good Luck,
