    Hi guys,
I would like to pass Clep Sociology and have as only book: Sociology in a changing world by William Kornblum.
Would that be enough and appropriate.
    Any suggestion is welcome.
Thank you and Good luck with the studies!!!!!

I've not read that text; unless it includes a background on some of the theorists of sociology, it's not going to be enough.

While the test did include a lot of questions on basic concepts of sociology -- ie: defining mores and folk-ways etc... It also included more than a little on the early theorists such as Weber and Durkheim especially but also Marx and Comte.

Understand the distinction between structuralism, functionalism, and Interactionism.

I found the video set by The Standard Deviants (two volumes - ISBN 1-58198-018-3) to cover everything needed.

I only used the REA Study Guide and passed with easy.
    Good Luck

I agree with what Randall said. REA Sociology with official CLEP test guide should be enough. Good luck!

I studied the Cliffs Sociology QuickReview: 0-7645-8615-7 2-3 hours a day for about a month and it was good for a 66.
