Post Baccalaureate Diploma in Criminology

For those interested in earning a Post Baccalaureate Diploma in Criminology, http://www.sfu.ca/criminology/PBDP.htm

Those having already completed a bachelor degree in any discipline other than criminology this might be worth checking out. Note, however, that not all courses are offered via distance education from Simon Fraser University. I have not full read the transfer credit policy so cannot comment on the limitations or flexibility.

 

SFU is one of Canada's top schools! I'm doing Criminology but I'm not distance.

 

After I complete a bachelor degree in intelligence studies at AMU I intend to enroll in this program at SFU. If all goes smoothly, that should be sometime in 2008 or 2009.

You're right, Simon Fraser University has a great reputation.

 

Have you considered the MA in Criminology? It's one of the top universities in North America for that. Crim at SFU is sort of the "prize field", like Medicine for UBC or Law for Uni of Toronto.

Yeah, I have thought about an MA in Criminology upon completion of the BA in Intelligence Studies. The PBD though looks like a nice stepping stone between the BA and MA allowing me to ramp up to possible venture into graduate degree land.
