I passed my first CLEP test today. I am so excited and now feel very inspired. I was very nervous about it and even unsure when I submitted the test. It was the Information Systems/Computer Applications.

That's one down, six more to go hopefully before January. They are a mixture of CLEP, DSST, and Excelsior exams.

This girl ain't slacking... I've already picked out my next book... Anatomy and Physiology.

GREAT JOB! Where in the South are you? I've lived in several locations in the South over the years (originally from Tennessee). But now reside in California until I can move back East *fingers crossed*

Again - GREAT JOB AND GOOD LUCK!

Oh cool :D ! Where in Tennessee? I've lived in Clarksville (about 35 miles Northwest of Nashville) and right outside of Knoxville. I would love to move back at some point probably more toward the Knoxville area.

What tests do you plan to take? Are they electives or requirements.

To answer the first question... I am near Chattanooga.

To answer the second question... I have many more tests to go!

I have 6 to finish before January which are:
    Anatomy and Physiology (ECE)
    Chemistry (Clep)
    Microbiology (ECE)
    Technical Writing (DSST)
    Fundamentals of Speech (DSST)
    College Algebra (CLEP)

Then I need a English Comp II class... Any suggestions anyone?

Then I start Phase II of the program which includes 4 nursing exams through Indiana State University.

Then I have more general Ed. classes to complete:
    Abnormal Psychology (ECE)
    Human Resource Management (ECE)
    Pathophysiology (ECE)
    Ethics (ECE)
    Religions of the World (DSST)
    Analyzing and Interpreting Literature (CLEP)
US History I and II (CLEP)
    Statistics (DSST)
    Biology (CLEP)
(I think this is all of them. I am listing them from memory)

The rest of my nursing classes are online through Indiana State University...
