Attending or a Graduate of an A.E.E.T. or B.E.E.T. Degree

I'm looking for people who graduated or are attending either a bachelors or an associates degree in electronic engineering technology. I want to get some advice and ask some questions of people who have the benefit of going through the program. Any help you can give me would be greatly appreciated.

Congratulations! When do you graduate? I really enjoyed your website -- very informative with great articles. I saw your certifications; were you a technician before you went to school? What certifications do you recommend for the electronics field?

I looked over your list, and I'm leaning toward Excelsior. I was an electronics technician in the military. As I understand it, Excelsior will accept my military and college credits. What have you heard?

Completing Electronics Engineering Program

I asked this question before and received some exellent responses. I am asking again just in case any additional information has presented itself.

My husband has an Associate of Science in Biomedical Engineering Technology. He completed the program with a 3.7 grade point average. He has courses scattered at various institutions. He is 40 now and feels the need to complete his Bachelors degree. His problem is, he does not want to spend eternity in school. Ideally, he would like to complete a Bachelors Degree in Engineering or Electronics by distance (UK or other foreign school) or complete a Bachelors Degree in Electronic Engineering Technology or any courses that would likely accept the Biomedical/Electronics courses he has taken.

Based on the information I have provided here, what would be your recommendations? Are you aware of any distance program Bachelors in Electronic Engineering (UK or otherwise?).

The certifications I recommend for electronics are the ones acknowledge by DANTES, NSSB, and the U.S. Department of Labor. You can find the best listing of these programs at the bottom of my webpage. I'm not aware of many distance degrees in the U.K. other than the University of Sunderland.
