Which of these schools has a better reputation? I'm looking to do a doctorate in business administration, and due to my work schedule, wife, children, etc, I can only do this online. I tried NCU but that didn't work out well. I found their classes to be a joke. Thanks, Brandon
Brandon, Can I ask you why you didn't like the classes at NCU? I'm thinking of NCU for my master's in Psych.
Brandon, please share a little more about why NCU was a joke? Did you finish the class and which one did you take? Thanks, Steve
Recommending NCU Wssf, I was waiting to hear Brandon's response too because I was just curious what his experience was with NCU. I am working on my Ph.D. with NCU. I teach online for two other schools which are both excellent and I think NCU is at the same level as the schools where I teach. I chose NCU because they offer what I want without residency requirements.
I like NCU as well, from what I have read, it would fill my needs. I only lean slightly toward to Nova b/c I can make the residency (single, no children) and would think it would be enjoyable. If you don't like a program, that is fine. Even if you want to trash it, that is your right to do so, however, you should include an explanation. We all have different "pain" thresholds, so an issue to me might be a non-issue to you. -S
A friend of mine is studying at Walden and he is happy with the course work but comparing the Ph.D. program with the one I took at Touro seems to me that Touro is more rigorous and demanding especially during the dissertation phase. Touro is affiliated with Touro College. A not-for-profit academic institution. Eli
