Hi all -- great site. This is my first post. I am looking for a course in web page development. DETC accreditation will be sufficient for me (so my employer will reimburse me). I don't need a degree program although that's ok as long as I can transfer credits -- would prefer associate degree program. I'm just looking to acquire a skill -- not receive credentials for working in the IT industry.

I would prefer to find a course that is strong on hands-on coding and real life projects. in other words, i don't want to just read texts and pass exams about web programming, i want to really know my stuff.

appreciate any thoughts or suggestions you may have.

I would highly recommend Champlain College. Champlain offeres both on-campus and distance learning modes of instruction and are Regionally Accredited.

The first two years (Year 1 and 2) lead to an Associates degree, while completion of the next two years (Year 3 and 4) lead to a Bachelor degree.
