I was browsing eBay, and cam across this http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=16708&item=5951592810&rd=1 . It's a legal HSD for only $50.00 lol. They state they are licenses in Arizona and always being recommended by probation officers. Thier website looks blah at _rioaz.org and the teachers look totally fake and are located in different parts of the world. My question is, are they allowed to do what they are doing?.

If you're looking for a good laugh, check out their website. The first thing that struck me was the poor grammar. I especially like their spelling of the word "private", which they spell "privet". The photos of the staff look like mug shots.

    Maybe they're hedging their bets.

That's pretty bad, and it looks like there is a mother asking who it is accredited by because her son needs a diploma...I sent her a message and hopefully she won't waste her money.

Sad. I would assume the licensing they are talking about is a standard business license. The accreditation is probably one the fraudulent accreditation groups. As to the endorsement of the probation department, the letter just looks like they assumed it was legitimate without checking it out. At least now when someone searches Google for info on them this thread will come up.

Please everyone report the seller to Ebay. We need help people from getting ripped off. I would hate to think of that mother actually buying one for her son.

The question about accrediation has now been answered and it is the "United Royal Kingdom CROWNWEALTH International Diplomatic Chartered Organization". The name is laughable and would never be permitted within the United Kingdom and other Commonwealth nations, not to mention the symbol/claimed armorial bearings of the organisation. The organisation's only references on the web are when referenced by the institute.

The seal on the diploma is also somewhat amusing - one does not usually write seal in large letters upon one's seal.

Also a quick search has found that they have actually managed to sell one.

Hopefully it will be cancelled before anyone does "purchase" another one.

One question though, under which category does one report the item as questionable?

Misleading title - it claims to be accredited when it does not have a recognised accreditor?

    Another one?

Sounds like a great deal, almost as good as the "Green Card Lottery". (Did you know that the US Immigration department raffles out 50,000 green cards every year. If you would like to be included in this drawing then simply send them a small filing fee.)

It's almost as great of a deal as the rich widow in Nigeria. If you would like lots of free money then send her your bank account number so that free money can be easily deposited into your account.

Or how about joining up with our alien brothers flying past Earth on that comet. If you would like to join them in paradise then just drink this poison to free your soul ...

This is probably falling on the wrong ears, but I also have some concerns about the legitimacy of the document they site proving their legality/legitimacy.

I am not sure that Santa Cruz county actually has an "Adult Probation Department" (although San-Fransisco has one). I could find a Santa Cruz County Probation Department though. I was also unable to find any reference to the names listed on it (although they were hard to read and I might not have had them correct, although I did try some variations.)

The document is dated 1-12-05, which is either in the future (day, month, year) or a week or so ago, which makes it unlikely for any renaming to be done.

The searching using the phrase "Implementation of Terms of Probation" did not find any references and "Implementation of Terms of" AND Probation revealed only a UK government website.

I wonder if this is sufficient evidence for eBay to pull the auction?

I regret to inform you that it appears that one "high school diploma" has been sold.

    UPDATE!!!

Look's like this so-called school and University is ran out a a apartment. I did some additional investigations and I came up with this. http://www.nogalesinternational.com/classifieds/?loc=detail&main=Rentals

"Look at the second classified add" on the website address matches but different apt number, but the so-called school uses "suite" number to sound more professional.
