Hello, I finishing my degree from Excelsior with one class to take but I need some help. I need a historiography course or a philosophy of History to satisfy my history concentration. I am aware there is not an exam to test out on but the online courses I have found are sooooooo long. Does anyone know of a course I could take? I'm starting a DL law program soon so I need to finish this soon.

    Thanks,
    Kristi

Check Brigham Young University's Independent Study Program. They have some DL upper level history courses in genealogy that satisfy the Excelsior historiography core requirement.
I got an approval from my academic advisor for a BYU IS course on german genealogy sources:

    "Dear Martin:
The following courses are fine to take:
    ...
For the Historiography or Historical Methodology requirement:
    Brigham Young University
HIST 409R, Germanic Family History Research"
    BYU Germanic Family History
