My husband wears either a small gold ball or small silver loop earing. Just one. He never takes it out even when lecturing. He lectures on neural phsyology all across the country.

 

I have my ear pierced, and thought I was pretty cool back in the day. But I have not worn an earring in 15 years or so. My brother wears them in both ears. The new trend is that guys who have pierced ears, wear earrings in both. If it is just one, there is a good chance it is a guy either in midlife crisis...or trying to hang on the glory days. It says nothing, however about sexual orientation.

I think that it is better for guys to wear two earrings. I do. They seem to be more in fashion.

No.
More like ear pressure, very highly concentrated.
