To suggest that the current African troubles are even indirectly tied to a brain drain that occurred well over 150 years ago, would seem to me to be the ultimate racist theory. There are white supremacists that wold love to align with that underlying premise.

My but it sounds like someone has a chip on her shoulder. But what stands is that I threw out some unsubstantiated fact as you she so until they are substantiated then they can all be ignored as well as her braindrain theory. And if substantiation is supplied is still can be ignored because I could come up with opposing substantiation. So who is correct? I do not know but this seems to be a typical leftist socialist shouting match which proves or solves nothing.

With all due respect, menger, the Liberians set the record straight here (with nothing but extraneous hoo-hah from the pious left) on Liberian history.

The brain-drain theory is about as stupid and pernicious as "the Greeks stole civilization from the [black] Egyptians", however. This stuff is copied from National Socialist theories of cultural provenance and race, deriving ultimately from Gobineau, I suppose. The conspiratorialist mindset of the "disadvantaged" fostered by crude socialism and crude nationalism knows no colour-bar.
