    Uncle Janko

Guess-estimate? Just street jargon for 'my unsubstantiated opinion'.

Dennis, I am praying along with you on CCU's success. CCU,in my opinion, is a good distance learning university as I too am in one of their programs. I can only re-iterate in regards to the State Approved graduate requirement that a student cannot graduate in less than 1 academic year per California post-secondary regulations per degree. What this has meant for me as I am in the BS/MBA program is that I cannot receive both of my degrees prior to two academic years from enrollment. The degree requirements are both time consuming and contain a full curriculum. This definitely placed CCU way ahead of any of the ( Degree by Assessment or PLA ) as I stated on a previous post. B]If I wanted a quick degree for doing no academic work...Would I want to wait 1 academic year to receive a bogus degree? [/B] Not at all.., I would want it shipped to me overnight and back-dated to a time when I should have completed a B.S. in the first place like say... 10 years ago!!, A REAL DEGREE MILL will do just that. I am up to graduate with my BS in management from CCU next month ( although I too was banking on the acreditation to go thru this past June) However, I will be proud of completing the 22 courses that my 2 junior college years at kilgore College, 2 additional regionally accredited years at Johnson & Wales University ( A.A.S. in F&B Management) and 2 professional certifications ( CHA and Master Certification through Cornell University's School of hotel Administration) that still could not prevent me from taking some of the courses from CCU in a B.S in management. Again, cost was a factor for me altough I am already well established in my career as experience becomes more of the advantage at this point. Either way, I will be proud to receive my degree and look forward to completing my MBA by end of 2005. Hopefully, Accredited.
