Has anybody on this board ever heard of or attended Colorado Technical University? They are NCA accredited and have been in existence since 1965. I just recently learned about them and am interested in the Doctor of Computer Science offering. I would like information regarding the quality of the program and faculty. I would especially like to hear about other's experiences with them. Russell
CTU Online RLSTALEY, I'm currently attending them DL for a MSM-ISS. I'm satisfied so far with the instructors. They are own by the same company as AIU and there portal is exactly the same. So far i haven't had any thing bad happen except the initial pushy enrollment people. please check my prior post for more info. S/
CTU sent me a direct mailing today offering me a 15K scholarship if I signed up for the doctor of management program prior to oct 30th. It's interesting, but how much is the tuition and is 15K a significant savings?
CTU is owned by the same company as AIU. Do a search for AIU and most good and bad about it will apply to CTU. If your expecting a UofP type experience you will likely be happy. If you are expecting a more traditional university experience you may be disappointed.
I'm in their MS IT-Project Management program, but am on campus so I can't speak re: DL. Overall I've been pretty happy with the program, and am almost done (just started class 9 of 11). FWIW I didn't get the high pressure "sales pitch" prior to enrolling at CTU, but that was before the buyout so it's possible you could get that. Good luck.
