The new Excelsior website only offers the DistanceLearn database to enrolled students. This was a great source for online classes, too bad they cut it out.

Where do we find these classes now?

Yes, I have an associate's degree from Regents (now Excelsior), so am technically an alumnus, but I can't access the DistanceLearn database either. Does anyone know where we can find these courses listed now?

The Independent Study Catalog is history also

Peterson's Independent Study Catalog formerly listed thousands of distance learning courses and they used to revise (update) it every three or four years. The last edition was printed in either 1997 or 1998. I checked with Petersons and they are not doing this anymore!

With the Distance Learning Database at Excelsior no longer accessible if you're not an enrolled student, and the Independent Study Catalog no longer available, where is one to find a comprehensive listing of the available dl courses?

I hope someone will know! Thanks.

    DANTES Online Independent Study Catalog

Ted, thank you so much for this! It is a great help and just about identical to the former Peterson's Independent Study Catalog that is no longer being published.

The exact link to the catalog, in case it helps someone, is http://www.dantescatalogs.com/DISC/DISCNav.asp
To get to the course listings, click on subject areas on the gray bar to the right, and then click on Postsecondary Course Information (unless you're looking for a graduate course).

I am grateful for your help!
