If you wanted me to pray for Biden's health, you just got it.

Cheap shots are fine, but I have no doubt Harris would do just fine as president. She's an experienced public administrator and legislator. Not a washed-up actor or has-been game show host or a dry cokehead.

    Or an antiquated socialist.

Tulsi Gabbard may be an opportunist lunatic, but everything she said about Kamala Harris was true. Even (especially!) if you're a "vote blue no matter who" type, you should want the "who" to be better than that.

I have no idea what Gabbard said, and am not about to find out. You really need to pick a better source than Moscow Tulci.
I am not a particular fan of Harris (for one, Joe seems to be more capable in the getting things done department), but most of the hate towards her seems to be about how much she was Hillaried by the pundits (and, yes, "vast right-wing conspiracy") than about her (rather conventional) politics. Plus, yeah, she's a daughter of immigrant academics, a plus in my book (being an immigrant academic myself). So, yeah, while we could do better on Vote Blue No Matter Who (which is the only sane strategy right now; the Reds are insane), we could do much worse. Like Sinema or Gabbard. Or Bernie (agree with 80% of his proposals, can't stand the faux humble sanctimonious jerk).

    From 3:50:

But since it's clear that you're uninterested in considering criticism of politicians you've decided to like, I suppose pointing to it is a waste of time.

Gabbard seems to just be blaming Harris for something bad that happened in a large organization. True that she was in charge of the organization but that doesn't mean she made or was even aware of every decision being made in that whole large organization.

I voted for Harris. I like her. Over the last couple of years my opinion of her has stayed about the same but my opinion of Buttigieg has improved significantly and my opinion of Gabbard has tanked.

Fair enough. For what it's worth, I agree with you on both Buttigieg and Gabbard.
